I am an experienced Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor of Yoga and student of Marianne Wells. I first discovered yoga in 2000 with the intention to improve physical fitness, strength, and flexibility, but soon discovered the deeply transformative effects of dedicated practice, which brought me peace, clarity, and focus in addition to physical well-being.
My classes are as unique as each student and are personalized to fit the individual needs of each student. Each class addresses the strengthening and stretching components of yoga by blending Vinyasa flow with the anatomical foundation of proper alignment and mindful yogic awareness. I teach a range of styles—from strenuous to restorative, while encouraging curiosity, insight, and healing. Like my teacher, Marianne Wells, I am committed to not limiting myself to a single yogic discipline, but embrace Yoga’s rich heritage that promotes balanced living, personal study, and unceasing growth.
It is my sincere belief is that Yoga is a metaphor of life: that the endurance, strength, balance, flexibility, patience, respect, acceptance, and peace we discover on the mat soon becomes part our everyday life. I strive to present Yoga as an amazing opportunity to explore the strengths that lie within each of us: whatever we seek or need is already within us. Yoga simply enables us to realize the radiance of our own existence, to enjoy the present moment with gratitude—regardless of what may arise—so that life becomes a celebration of the continuous moment-to-moment flow of life….
